The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium proudly presents the annual Lights Before Christmas event, a breathtaking display of over one million lights that transform the picturesque landscape into a mesmerizing tapestry of colors and shapes. Guests can admire the towering Big Tree adorned with colorful bulbs, as well as animated light sculptures of animals and holiday characters that adorn every corner of the zoo. This family-friendly event is sure to bring joy and delight to all who experience it.

Come Skate at The Ribbon for the Holidays!

Glass City Metropark is proud to introduce The Ribbon for the Holidays this year – a 1,000-foot loop trail with rolling hills and soft curves for an enjoyable ice skating experience. Connected to a 5,000-square-foot skating pond, visitors will have the chance to participate in traditional ice rink activities as well as special events and programs. To make it even more special, there will be a light display at The Ribbon and families can warm up by the fire while enjoying food and drinks in Markethall nearby. It’s a destination that promises to be both memorable and fun!

Starting October 16, visitors will be able to make reservations for a skating slot at the Manor House in Metroparks Toledo. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to take part in a holiday tradition!

Enjoy Holiday Fun at Metroparks Hall

Experience an unforgettable holiday celebration this year at Metroparks Hall! The annual Holidays at the Manor House is a festive event that brings together volunteers from the community to transform the 30,000-square-foot space into a winter wonderland. With more than 40,000 visitors each year, it has become a beloved tradition for many. Guests can enjoy all of the holiday decorations, music, and special events, as well as the model train exhibit by the Swanton Area Railroad and Model Club – no reservations are required, although limited numbers will be allowed inside the building at one time. Celebrate the holidays in style at Metroparks Hall!

And of course, no winter in Toledo would be complete without a game of Walleye Hockey at the Huntington Center Arena. This year, they are doing Peanuts: A Christmas Celebration | Saturday, December 23, which will include a specialty jersey, giveaway, and much more.
