The University of Toledo’s Engineering department will host its Spring 2023 Career Expo on February 28, 2023, at the John F. Savage Arena on Main Campus. The event will allow students to connect with employers from various industries and explore their ever-expanding opportunities in their chosen fields. This event will also give students an invaluable chance to network and create lasting relationships with potential employers.
The University of Toledo’s College of Engineering offers one of the country’s most distinguished and sought-after programs. It is one of just eight universities to require co-op placements for engineering science students, with 22 undergraduate and graduate programs available across various major engineering fields. The University of Toledo College of Engineering, holds an annual Career EXPO in the fall, spring, and summer seasons every year. This event takes place at the Savage Arena and hosts hundreds of employers looking to hire both co-op and full-time employees. It is an excellent opportunity for undergrads searching for co-ops who have completed engineering professional development courses. The Expo also aims to help graduate engineering students searching for full-time employment and alums looking to return to the workforce. Unfortunately, students already on a co-op cannot attend this event.
The same-day interviews will be held after the Expo from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., allowing students to speak directly with employers interested in hiring them. Students can take this opportunity to showcase their skills and discuss potential job opportunities with these recruiters.
